Vistage CEO Confidence Index Rises To 107.5

Vistage’s CEO Confidence Index rose to 107.5 for the fourth quarter of 2014, the highest level since the first quarter of 2005. The CEO Confidence Index is determined from a survey of CEOs of small to medium-sized businesses.

The survey also indicated that over 49% of CEOs believe that the economy will continue to improve in 2015, resulting in favorable conditions for M&A activity.

Additionally, a combined Vistage/Wall Street Journal survey revealed that optimism amongst small firms continued to remain at record-high levels during the fourth quarter of 2014.
