 Integrated Fire Protection, LLC (“IFP” or the “Company”) is an industry-leading, full-service provider of fire protection and life safety services, including inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation of fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and special hazard systems. IFP has built an outstanding reputation as a total solutions provider committed to delivering quality products and unparalleled service. Based in Norcross, Georgia, IFP has a strong presence throughout the greater Atlanta metro area and has served clients across the southeastern United States. 

Situation

IFP was founded in 2002 by John Bennett, who led the Company through a period of strong growth over its 15-year history, however, IFP had reached an inflection point and needed a financial or strategic partner that could provide capital and resources to continue the Company’s growth trajectory. Furthermore, the Owner was tired of administrative aspects of his position and wanted to refocus on customer relationships and business development. The Company was approached by a publicly owned industry buyer and IFP did not have an M&A advisor.

Advisory Role

BCA was engaged by IFP as its exclusive financial advisor in its sale process. BCA ran a narrow marketing process, with a focus on strategic and financial buyers with existing platforms in fire and life safety services.

Result

Bravaldo Capital Advisors successfully obtained multiple competitive offers for the business and sold the Company to a private equity owned strategic buyer.
